Single Astrologer Plans Wedding With No Groom!

A Sydney woman who has already planned and paid for her April wedding is now just waiting for the planets to align so she can find a potential husband.

Anita Chakra Burtty, a 42-year-old astrologist, is “100 percent convinced” she will find her future husband in October or November, she told Channel Nine’s A Current Affair.  ”Hopefully once he meets me he’ll realise I’m a very fun, a very generous and I’m a very kind a loving person and he won’t mind that I’m only a tiny bit insane,” she said.

Ms Burtty has set the wedding date, bought her dress, visited the florist and settled on a beachside barbecue reception at Coogee.  She has even invited friends and family from England to celebrate her big day.  ”All I need now is a groom,” Ms Burtty said.  Her best friend, Jeremy, said he changed his wedding date to fit in with hers and hopes she isn’t let down.  ”We were just planning dates at the time so you know, I wouldn’t be a good friend to Anita unless I believed in her and supported her,” he said.  ”Obviously it’s a bit out there but the world’s a strange place and I’ve seen weirder things happen so I guess we’ll find out in six to eight months.”
